X Minus One (and other Radio shows)

X Minus One was a science fiction radio series on NBC from April 1955 through January 1958. It was a kind of sequel to a show called Dimension X that was broadcast in 1950-51. Many of the shows were in assocation with Galaxy magazine so it's not suprising that Sheckley often contributed. Other writers featured include Bradbury, Heinlein, and Asimov.

There are mp3 files of many of the shows scattered around the internet. I've had to remove the files I used to have here due to lack of space.

Sheckley wrote sixty short scripts for this series on Monitor Radio. They were narrated by Basil Rathbone in 1966. Any more information would be appreciated.

Hour Twenty-Five

This show has been broadcast by the Californian station KPFM since 1972. It usually features the regular presenters reading sci-fi stories. I don't know the dates of most of these (short stories unless noted).
